1st Meeting

Our first meeting was held on April 24th in Wolcoff Auditorium at Roxborough Hospital. We had 15 present at the meeting including one non-Ham who wants to get his license and was looking for guidance which he did receive. Three additional applications were received. The orginization is growing.

Our guest speaker was Bob Josuweit, CQ magazine Public Service Editor, who presented "Field Day is not Enough". Bob's presentation was well received, and the group had an informal session afterwards to get to know each other.

Phila ARES next meeting is scheduled for May 22nd, at 7:00. Again at Wolcoff Auditorium..
